The Lights at Temple Square
We spent our Thanksgiving this year with the Swaner's. They came down to Ogden for the weekend and we had some fun times together. Saturday we rode down to Salt Lake on the Front Runner to see the lights at Temple Square. We of course HAD to eat at California Pizza Kitchen! We also treated ourselves to dessert at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Yummy!

Celebrity Encounter!

Over Labor Day weekend Brandon and I decided to make a QUICK trip to CA to see the fam. It was loads of fun and we got no sleep but it was totally worth it! While we were there we had to make our traditional shopping trip to Oakley. They had some big event going on that day (I have no idea what.) But we were walking down one of the hallways to my dad's office and I heard this voice behind that sounded really familiar. I turned my head to take a quick peak and sure enough it was Gary Sinise. . . Forrest Gump, Apollo 13, The Green Mile, CSI:NY! I just kept walking and they kept following. Well they had set up a green room in a conference room in my dad's area! We went back to my dad's office for a bit and on our way out Gary was there to greet us and shook all of our hands and asked how we were doing. Such a nice guy. I was totally star struck and had no idea how to react. I think I said something really dumb. Oh and he is a small guy! Short and skinny. I never would have guessed.

I can't believe that it has been 4 years! Time flies by! I am so happy to be married to Brandon. He is the best thing that ever happened to me. This has just been such an exciting year for us.
We are going up to Bear Lake for the weekend to relax and have some fun. Nice little getaway!
I can't wait for the future! Love you so much honey. Happy Anniversary!

It's Positive!!!

A few weeks ago Brandon and I found out that we are pregnant! We are so thrilled. We have been trying for a long time, so this is just such a blessing for us. We went to the doctor and had our first ultrasound and got to see and hear the heart beat. It is such an amazing experience! I still think about it and can't believe it. Right now I am only about 8 weeks along. So it's still pretty early, but I can't keep it a secret any longer!

Music to My Ears
Family Reunion Time!
We spent a fabulous week in Moab this year with my family. Every two years my Grandparents organize a family reunion somewhere fun and new. We were there July 3rd-10th.

We also went on a few hikes while we were here. Negro Bill Canyon was the first that most of the family went on.

Brandon, Kevin, Ryan and Logan went for a grueling bike ride on the Slick Rock Trail. Brave souls!

We went on a guided hike through the Firery Furnace in Arches National Park. We were climbing all around and through these amazing formations.

Here is where we stayed. The Red Cliffs Lodge. They have filmed tons of old western movies out here. :)

Christine, Leah, Andrea and I went for a little horseback ride. Awesome scenery!

Arches National Park. The Delicate Arch.

My Sis
At the end of the week, we decided to head south to see the Grand Canyon with my family. Not many words to describe the place besides HUGE!
