Dland & More

CA Adventure & Disneyland
Brandon headed home after Ragnar and I stayed in CA for another week. Andrea and I decided to take a couple days and go to CA Adventure and Disneyland. My pass expires this month :( so we made the most of it. Hailey loves, loves, loves the characters. It just melts my heart to see how happy and excited she gets to see them. She would run up to them and give them a hug and not want to let go. Everyone thought she was just so sweet. We saw Woody, Buzz and Pluto at CA Adventure. We were lucky both days we were there b/c there were no crowds. So we got to do and see a lot and the lines were a breeze!

We stayed for World of Color at CA Adventure b/c I have never seen it since they have opened it. This guy in front of us would not budge...even with two kids looking right over his shoulders!

Everyone asleep in the backseat after a long day.

Day two, ready for Disneyland! Hailey was so excited to wear her princess crown! Princess Minnie is what we called her.

When we got in the park, Minnie was out front, so we decided we would say hi. Luckily we were the last ones to get to see her, so we got a little extra time. Hailey ran up and just about tackled Minnie. I don't think Minnie was expecting such enthusiasm from such a small person! She gave her hugs and kisses. When Minnie had to go she tried to take Hailey with her. Hailey loves Minnie, but wasn't so sure about leaving Mom to go with her!

Auntie stood in line for us so we could meet Rapunzel. Hailey loves the characters, but when it came to meeting someone that was a real person, she was a little nervous. She loves Rapunzel, so she eventually warmed up to her. Rapunzel told her a secret. Hailey said it was something to do with Pascal. We even got a chance to meet Flynn too.

 Little monkey on Casey Jr.

Pirates! Arrrgh!

It was like pulling teeth to try to get Hailey to take a nap both days. But she needed it! She refused to let me hold her crown for her...even when she was sleeping!

Loved, loved, loved the tea cups!

Zoomar's
Zoomar's is basically a petty zoo. I have taken Hailey once before, but she was sick and a lot younger. She loved it this time. She thought it was so funny whenever she would go and give a bunny a carrot, and it would take it from her. She would just scream. One of the little baby goats tried to nibble on her buttons on her shirt, and she didn't like that. She did love seeing the big fluffy sheep, just like her sheepy.

They had a corn box for kids to dig and play in. Hailey and Lucas loved it.
 Look at that look!

OCMCO
My mom got us tickets to go see the Orange County Mormon Choral Organization. It's a great group of people who have to try out to be in the choir. They have different age groups of people ranging from 4years old and up. We had a girls night out while Papa babysat. It was a great show with some classical and Broadway songs.

MV Lake
We wanted to take a boat out on the lake one evening, but all the party boats were reserved. So we decided to take a sailboat! Luckily my dad has a little experience with these things. There weather of course turned cold and windy as soon as we got out. But we all had a fun time. Hailey was a little nervous every time we had to tack, but kept us on our toes!

So Cal Ragnar

Brandon and I ran our second Ragnar this year. We had just as much fun as the last time too! We ran in the So Cal Ragnar which went from Huntington Beach to Coronado Island in San Diego. It was great running with my dad and my sister this around. The race was a total of 202 miles. I ran a measly 13.2 miles in total and Brandon ran a total of 16 miles. There were no major hiccups in this race, which was nice. We had the luxury of having houses close enough to where we were running , that we could could go crash in between our legs....really unheard of! Although our car only got a total of a couple of hours of sleep anyway. The only bad thing was that we had some really hot weather on Friday and a lot of runners were collapsing and passing out from heat exhaustion. Oh, and it was my birthday. Happy Birthday to me!

Van 1 peeps

Our start time was 6:45 AM. Had to be there at 5:45. Had to wake up so much earlier!

Team 315...The Wave Runners!

Heather pumped to start the race!

 One leg down...two to go.

Back seat bonding.

Ryan surviving the heat.

So happy to see the exchange!

Logan...also the newest Ironman  in the family. He's an animal.

Sibling love.

Can you see the sleep deprivation in this picture? A little embarrassing.

 Finished! Cold pizza anyone?

So true.

Legoland

We have never been to Legoland and decided it would be fun for a change. It was cute and had some fun rides for the kids. I would definitely say its geared more for a younger crowd. They have some great playground/play areas for the kids. Miniland is amazing. They build cities out of legos with moving parts and cars and everything. They also have a big splash pad and water area. The big kid area is this huge pirate ship structure with water slides. Super cute!

Dancing in circles...

...more circles

 Finally crashed.
