Hailey's First Haircut

Hailey finally had her first haircut! She was just over 2 1/2 years old! I'm not one of those crazy people that can't cut their kids hair, but it took so long to actually get where we are! Hailey has a couple of really funky layers in her hair one of which is a lot shorter that the other. I have been trying to let her hair grow out a little before cutting it. My sister Andrea gave her her first haircut. Hailey was so excited about it and was glad to find out that it didn't hurt when she cut her hair!

Thanksgiving

We shared Thanksgiving this year at my family's house. It was a crazy family gathering of close to 30 people!  We all ate a bunch of food and the cousins played. Kelly, Sydney and Sammy stayed at our place and were our first overnight guests since we moved.  We did some Black Friday shopping and we were home by 10:30 this year!

Hailey and Sammy. They hadn't seen each other for about a year half when they were babies. They were holding hands from the get go. So cute!

Girl time! Lucy, Sammy, and Hailey.

Family Time

The three of us have so much fun together! I love making these little memories.

Sundays at the beach. Sometimes when there is nothing else to do on Sunday, we will go down to the beach. It's nice to sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful ocean.

Halloween Fun!

Hailey had a blast this year with Halloween. I would dare say it might be one of her favorite holidays. We did a lot of fun things to celebrate this year...

Irvine City Pumpkin Patch
The pumpkin patch has become kind of a tradition the last few years. We go and ride the train, play games, decorate cookies, and this year Hailey had her face painted! It's always so hot in October!

First face painting!

Pumpkin City's Pumpkin Patch
This was our first time going to the Pumpkin City Pumpkin Patch. It was a blast. There are a ton of rides for the kids to go on and of course a lot of pumpkins. Hailey had a blast!

First Pony ride...
 She loved it!

She really did like this little train ride. All the other pics were blurry!

Driving the pink car like a pro!

Such a sweet face!

Foothill Ranch Ward Trunk-or-Treat
Our ward had a trunk-or-treat. Believe it or not, this was our first time ever going to a trunk-or-treat! Our ward in Utah didn't do them for some odd reason. It was a lot of fun. We had dinner and music(by the ward band!) and then there were games set up in classrooms all around the building. The kids got little prizes or candy at each game.

Hailey dressed up as Cinderella for Halloween...her FAVORITE! She absolutely loved getting ready. When she was all ready she just walked around ever so daintily. Just the cutest!
She felt very special getting her princess hair done by Auntie!

 All ready!

Visiting the Grandparents
We went to visit both sets of my grandparents in San Diego and my Grammy gave Hailey this witch hat. She thought it was pretty special!
Cutest little witch you ever did see!

Mission Lake Ward Trunk-or-Treat
Since our trunk-or-treat was such a hit with Hailey and she loved getting dressed up, we went to my parent's! Hailey had fun going with Lucas.

Our little princess!

Carving Pumpkins
So going along with our Cinderella theme this year, we decided to make Hailey's pumpkin a silver pumpkin carriage, just like Cinderella's! She loved it! She wasn't too interested in getting messy at all, but was a good bystander.

Halloween!
Halloween night was kind of rough. Hailey for some reason was a little whiny and not cooperative. She liked getting candy and trick-or-treating, but did not want to walk...period. So we ended up carrying her from house to house, because it was fasted than getting her in and out of her stroller! We were lucky enough to have some friends from Utah visiting. They have a little girl Hailey's age and they had a blast together. I think Hailey had more fun just hanging out with her than actually trick-or-treating!

Just Some Randoms...

Just wanted to remember these little moments...

Water colors with Lucas. Having so much fun hanging out together.

Swinging at the park. Such a sweet face!

Watching Lucas play soccer. Our favorite Saturday morning activity! She would sit and cheer Lucas on. Probably his biggest fan.

Potty Training!

I finally decided it was time to potty train Hailey. I think she has been ready for a while, but I didn't want to do it right before we moved. So I waited. I was terrified because of all the different stories I have seen and heard with other kids. We did a potty chart with stickers and treats. Hailey was pretty excited about it all. We had gone to the store and picked out some princess panties and we had been talking about it for a while. The first day was full of accidents. It was easy to tell when Hailey had an accident because she would scream bloody murder! It was kind of funny actually! After about 3 or 4 days she was getting the hang of it pretty well. I was relieved! She has done so well and I am so proud of her!

Hailey's Minnie Mouse potty. She loves it!

So glad I waited to potty train in a place with wood floors! Makes wiping up accidents soooo much easier!
