1st Camp Out of the Summer

Brandon and I were dead set on going camping. We had tried to go the week before, but by the time we got off work on Friday night and got up the canyon, all the campgrounds were full! So we tried it again this last weekend. And things were not looking so great, We kept driving by campground after campground...all full! We finally headed out to one last place to look. And we just happened to find one open camp spot. So we got settled in for one interesting night!

We finally got a chance to use our new tent that we got for out birthdays! It was fabulous!

Brandon did a great job building the fire and keeping it going. Even though the weather was in the 90's in Ogden, it was really chilly up the canyon!

We roasted hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire. Quick and easy!

So the evening just got more exciting from here. We were backed up to another camp spot that had two younger couples staying there. They were busy getting drunk and getting louder and more obnoxious by the minute. Finally one guy got mad at his girlfriend and drove off in a drunken rage. He made a scene through the whole campground as he left. He eventually returned and with him so did the police. He was given a DUI and I think they held him over night. And just for a little added bonus, the people on the other side of us were playing this loud cheesy music all night. By 12:00 Brandon and I had decided that we had had enough. He had to go ask them to turn it down. And of course they acted all put out about it. Anyway, still fun. Hope there's more trips to come!

California Here We Come!

Brandon and I took a much needed trip down to see the fam in CA. First stop... the beach!

This was so hilarious! Luke doesn't like the feeling of grass for some reason. When you sit him down on the grass he tries to lift his hands and feet off the ground so he doesn't have to touch it. Cute little guy!

Auntie and Uncle B got to babysit for a little while one day. We took Luke up to the park to play. He loved the swing!

What's a trip to California without a visit to Disneyland? We got to go play at Disneyland and CA Adventure one day with the family. Everyone has season passes so they pretty much live there. Not fair!

Luke loves to ride on the carousel, so we all went. It's been a while, I forgot how fun they are! Luke even knows how to hold on like a big boy.

Brandon was a good sport and came along for the ride!

Luke has just recently learned how to give "High Fives" and he thinks it's really funny. It's ok, so do we!

How precious is this! Luke was intrigued by the parade. Brandon will be such a good dad one day! ;)

"Dead Man Tells No Tale"

My cute mom and dad came and met up with us later on. They are so wonderful. We love them so much and miss them already!

Autotopia....

Brandon kicks my butt at this game every time. It's not fair and it makes me a little mad!

My dear sister! She is so strong and such a great mom. I loved being able to spend some time with her. We have some good laughs. Miss her tons!

Moab/Blanding Adventure

Brandon and I headed down to Blanding, UT for Ben and Michelle's wedding reception. On the Way down there you pass through Moab. This was my first time ever to see the neat red rock formations. This is just a little arch we spotted off the side of the road. We couldn't resist so we hopped out of the car and hiked up to the top. Fun!

Ben & Michelle's Wedding

May 9th, 2008

Ben and Michelle were married in the Logan Temple on Friday May 9th. It was a great wedding. We were a little nervous because earlier that morning it was just a down pour. But sure enough it cleared up for a few hours for them to get some pictures outside the temple. She looked so beautiful! What a cute couple!

Idaho Falls Open House

They had their Open House Saturday May 10th at Liberty Square which is a really nice retirement community. Everything looked great! Here are a few picts to look through. . .

Amy's Baby Shower

My friend Amy who I work with is having a baby boy! So all the girls I work with threw a little baby shower for her a few weeks ago. It was loads of fun and Amy is so cute! She will be such a cute little mommy!

Jodi gave Amy this cool wrappy thing that you can a tie a bunch of different ways that can hold the baby/that will cover the baby while nursing. Amy's belly was too big right now, and we couldn't quite figure it out. Jodi was a good sport.

This was the end result. . .

Here We Go...

So after chatting with my good friend Shannon the other night I finally decided that I would get into this blog thing. So I hope my life is interesting enough for others to tune in. So here's the latest...

Brandon and I recently moved from Roy to Ogden. We love our new apt. It's closer to school and work.

I am still working at Fountain of Youth. It's great I love it. Free facials, laser hair removal, botox, etc.

Brandon is almost done with this semester. He is going into Business at Weber State. He is also working part time for Charlie's Service as a service manager.
