Pioneer Days Rodeo
We have made it kind of a tradition to go the Pioneer Days Rodeo here in Ogden every year. This year we went with Grandpa Swaner, Brandon's uncle Craig and aunt Judy, and Brandon's cousin Lisa and her two kids. Hailey had fun watching the horses and cows and eating popcorn and cotton candy. As always though, it was HOT!

Weber State Fireworks
Every year Weber State has fireworks for the 24th of July Celebration. I don't think we have been since we have had Hailey because she wasn't really into fireworks and they were just too late. We tested out the bike seat and rode our bikes over to the school. Hailey loves her new bike seat. Always fun to see fireworks!

Quick Trip
We went up to Idaho Falls the weekend after the 4th to help Jeff and Kathy out with some yard work. They are working really hard to get their yard prepared for Jessica's wedding. Brandon and Jeff moved a bunch of dirt and rock to fill in some spots in the back yard. I can't really say that I helped in the slightest. But Jessica and I went and beefed up her wedding registry in the morning. Later that day we ran through the sprinklers in the back yard and played with bubbles. It was a hot day, so we were all willing to get a little wet.
Later, we met up with our friend Dain and went to dinner at Cafe Rio.
Totally bored and ready to go. Such a trooper.
Isn't she the cutest?!

4th of July
We had a great 4th this year! We started the day off by going to breakfast at a friend's house for pancakes. Then Jeff and Kathy came down from Idaho for the day. Grandpa Swaner joined us for the day as well. We went to lunch at the Oaks up Ogden Canyon and then to the Dinosaur Park. I have never been, for fear that Hailey would not be into it. But she loved it! She loved wandering around looking at the different dinosaurs and roaring at them! There were some animatronic dinos that moved and made sounds that she was a little nervous about at first, but soon got over that. And she knows what a triceratops is, which I think is pretty good considering we don't really play with dinosaurs ever!
Ha! Roaring like the dinosaur. It really looks like this guy is going to eat her!
Making Grandpa come "this way."
Hailey didn't want anyone to fall behind.
Bonding.
Checking out the ducks.
Silly
Watch out for these two...
Loved walking around with Grandpa.
It was so hot and we had been walking around outside for so long that we all needed a little refreshment. We headed over to Farr's for some ice cream! Hailey enjoyed sampling everyone's ice cream.
Hailey has always hated sitting on our shoulders. This is one of the rare moments she was ok with it!
Later we went to the Kaysville fireworks which are at Davis High School and the DATC. A couple of neighbors recommended that we go to these and they were great! It was a total zoo of people, but we showed up late and found the perfect spot! We did sparklers and pop-its until the fireworks started. This is the first year that Hailey has really been into the fireworks. And I think she loves them. She doesn't seem to be afraid of them at all. We were all exhausted by the end of the day. But it was a blast!

June
June seems to have been pretty productive for us. Here are some fun moments to remember...
Playing at the splash pad with Reese!
Riding her bike to see the wildcat. Roar!!!
Loves to put on everyone's shoes! Daddy's happened to match that day!
Winter hat and gloves in the middle of summer. Silly girl!
More splash pad!
Real Salt Lake soccer games. Really fun times!
South Ogden Days Parade. It's always good to get loads of candy and otter pops at 9 in the morning!
Swimming at the Roy Aquatic Center. This place is awesome! Had a blast going down the froggy slide (this is the mouth).
Bathing beauty!

Father's Day
Because I didn't know what to get Brandon for Father's Day this year I decided to to just do something cutesy for him. Since he was busy running the Ragnar that weekend I had the chance to make him this little candy tree! Yum! It took a lot to not eat it all myself!
Showing her Daddy some love!
Happy Father's Day to a great husband and a wonderful Dad!
