TJ & Jessica's Wedding

Brandon's little sister Jessica was married on August 25th to TJ Eck. It was a cute little backyard wedding. Kathy did a great job organizing and putting everything together. TJ and Jess are a cute couple and seem so happy together. Congrats you two!

Fun with Friends

We went to the Treehouse Museum for the last time with Courtney and Reese. These two are so cute together. They played and then we went to get lunch. They were just cracking each other up! Look at these cute faces!

Party Time

One of our neighbor friend's little boy Adam had his 3rd birthday. They recently bought a house and moved away to Layton so it was a lot of fun getting together and letting the play together again.

Weber County Fair

We have never been to the Weber County Fair since we have lived here. And to be honest I didn't think it was all that great. But We enjoyed walking through all the animal stalls and they had a big petting zoo area with all kinds of animals to see. We saw a baby horse that was 3 days old! So cute! I just wanted to pick it up and snuggle it.

Hogle Zoo

We haven't been to the zoo all year and we decided we needed to have a good family outing before Brandon started his new job. They were having a teddy bear picnic on this particular day. So all the kids brought their favorite teddy bear and the vets at the zoo checked their vitals and they had a few little activities with the Disney Radio crew. It was a good day and we saw a lot of animals regardless of the really hot weather.

A few things I love...

Hailey has never been one to just fall asleep anywhere, especially just on the couch at home. Well one day she had gone down for a really late nap and I didn't want her to sleep too late. So I went and woke her up. She was not at all ready to awake so I brought her out on the couch thinking she could snuggle there until she woke up some more. This is what happened.....first time ever!!!

And I love seeing Hailey and her Daddy reading stories before bed. 

Pioneer Days Rodeo

We have made it kind of a tradition to go the Pioneer Days Rodeo here in Ogden every year. This year we went with Grandpa Swaner, Brandon's uncle Craig and aunt Judy, and Brandon's cousin Lisa and her two kids. Hailey had fun watching the horses and cows and eating popcorn and cotton candy. As always though, it was HOT!

Weber State Fireworks

Every year Weber State has fireworks for the 24th of July Celebration. I don't think we have been since we have had Hailey because she wasn't really into fireworks and they were just too late. We tested out the bike seat and rode our bikes over to the school. Hailey loves her new bike seat. Always fun to see fireworks!

Quick Trip

We went up to Idaho Falls the weekend after the 4th to help Jeff and Kathy out with some yard work. They are working really hard to get their yard prepared for Jessica's wedding. Brandon and Jeff moved a bunch of dirt and rock to fill in some spots in the back yard. I can't really say that I helped in the slightest. But Jessica and I went and beefed up her wedding registry in the morning. Later that day we ran through the sprinklers in the back yard and played with bubbles. It was a hot day, so we were all willing to get a little wet. 

Later, we met up with our friend Dain and went to dinner at Cafe Rio. 

Totally bored and ready to go. Such a trooper.
