Fall...Soon to be winter

Last week Brandon and I went on a bike ride to see all the pretty fall leaves. They were gorgeous! Luckily we went when we did because winter weather is starting to come in. I will miss our bike rides during the winter season. It was a good 10 mile ride until Brandon got two flat tires after riding over a few "goat heads." That's what Brandon called them at least. Enjoy the pics!

Halloween

This year for Halloween Brandon and I dressed up as hippies. I think the best part was scouring multiple D.I.'s for the sickest, nastiest clothes we could find. We celebrated by going to one of Brandon's cousins' house for a party. Enjoy the pics!

Ballerina?, Richard Simmons, Jane Fonda, Sarah Palin, John McCain

I can't believe she wore/found this! Hilarious!

Our pumkins.

So since I am not down in CA with the rest of my family, they send me pictures of everything I am missing out on. Here are some cute pics of my sweet little nephew Luke and the family. Miss you guys!

It's only appropriate that Luke have Oakley's like the rest of the family... I mean come on!

Cutest Peter Pan out there.

My beautiful sister...

Nana...

And Papa.

Look at this cool pumpkin stand they got. It's so cute! I have never seen anything like it!

Really?. . .Snow?

On Saturday we had warnings of snow showers. Now I was thinking maybe just a little sprinkling here and there. Uh...I was wrong! It snowed off and on Sat. afternoon and ALL DAY Sunday! It snowed about 6 inches! Crazy for mid October! But it's about all melted now. What a weird weekend.

One of our neighbors and their son built this snowman. It hardly made a dent in all the snow that covered the grass!

Road Kill!

While we were journeying back from Jackson Hole, we hit a stupid raccoon! It was about 11:00 at night and were were in BFE Wyoming! Not to mention that it was cold and rainy. So all of the sudden this raccoon just walks out in front of us on the highway, and it was either hit the raccoon, or swerve and possibly kill us all. So obviously the raccoon lost....so did the Honda....

Who knew a raccoon could do such damage? Destroyed the front bumper, caved in the radiator, and bent the frame. The sad part about all of this is that we just got our car out of the shop not even two weeks ago, after having it in for 45 days! The bumper had just been re-painted as well. Wo is me.

This left us stranded on the side of the highway until the police could come pick us up. We had to stay the night in a little motel/topless bar. Don't worry that the front desk check-in is inside the bar. Interesting night to say the least.

TGR Movie Premier

This last weekend we went up to Jackson Hole to see the premier for the Teton Gravity Research Movie. For those of you who don't know what that is, its basically a ski/snowboard movie. Brandon and his family love these movies. And it's really fun to go to the premier because there are a bunch of the pro athletes there and they give away free skis, jackets, etc.

Happy Anniversary

I can't believe that it has been 3 years since we have been married. Time has really flown by. Brandon made reservations for us at the Roof Restaurant in Salt Lake. It was such nice evening.

Our view...

Brandon totally surprised me with a new ipod touch! My old nano wasn't cutting it. It's so cool! I love it!

Thank you Brandon for 3 wonderful years. I love you so much. You are the best husband!

Nayna!

Right after my parents were here, Andrea and Luke came to visit us for a few days. I miss these two so much. Luke is getting so big and of course is the cutest kid out there! He just barely started walking a little while he was here. And the best we could do with getting him to say my name was "Nayna". Unfortunately I don't have very many picts from their trip.

Playing at the mall...yeah he is still in his pj's. We made him go run some errands early one morning. Oh well.

Andrea and I took Luke to the zoo fot the first time while they were here. We ventured down to Hogle Zoo. Luke was very interested in all the animals. But he likes the bears beacaus he knows what they say!

Parade of Homes

Like I mentioned earlier, while my parents were here we went to the Parade of Homes in Salt Lake. Here are my 3 favorites in no particular order:

1.

9,600 sq. ft. $3 million

2.
9,895 sq. ft. $2.7 million

3.

6,622 sq. ft. $2.5 million

Ok, so really loved this last one. (sigh). One day I will have a house like this...maybe.

Family Time!

My parents came up to visit us for a week. We had such a blast! First we went to Bear Lake for a few days. We also went up to Park City for a day and visited the Olympic Park. We got tickets to go see the Parade of Homes in Salt Lake (pictures to come). On the way we stopped by Bingham High School so my parents could walk around. That's where they met. How cute!

Bear Lake: Minetonka Caves, etc.

Park City: Olympic Park

We took a ride down the zipline

Bingham High School:

Dad's old math classroom . . . he says it hasn't changed much.
