Music to My Ears

For our birthdays in April, my parents got Brandon and I tickets to the Fray. The concert was on July 18th. It was a great show! Jack's Mannequin was very entertaining! It was about 100 degrees but a great night!

Family Reunion Time!

We spent a fabulous week in Moab this year with my family. Every two years my Grandparents organize a family reunion somewhere fun and new. We were there July 3rd-10th.

Here is where we stayed. The Red Cliffs Lodge. They have filmed tons of old western movies out here. :)

We also went on a few hikes while we were here. Negro Bill Canyon was the first that most of the family went on.

Brandon, Kevin, Ryan and Logan went for a grueling bike ride on the Slick Rock Trail. Brave souls!

Christine, Leah, Andrea and I went for a little horseback ride. Awesome scenery!

We went on a guided hike through the Firery Furnace in Arches National Park. We were climbing all around and through these amazing formations.

At the end of the week, we decided to head south to see the Grand Canyon with my family. Not many words to describe the place besides HUGE!

So Brandon surprised me the other day. He got me my very own 4 wheeler! His friend Dain was willing to trade his 4 wheeler for a pair of skis...which we have an abundance of! I was totally shocked and still am. Now all I need to do is learn to ride it! Thanks honey! Can't wait to go play!

Rock Crawling

We went up to Idaho Falls this past weekend for the Idaho State Off-Road Run. Ben and Michelle came up too which was lots of fun because we haven't seen them since they moved to WY for the summer. We were out all day! It was a lot of fun to see everyone's rigs and how they work.

This guy flipped his Jeep. It was kind of scary but exciting at the same time. He could care less about it. These guys just live to build and re-build these things.

It's True...

Brandon and I are the proud owners of Lagoon season passes this year. We thought what the heck. Why not. We have actually already gone twice which basically makes it worth buying. We have had a lot of fun just going and hanging out after work. If anyone wants to go...let us know!

The Dunes

Brandon and I had a great Memorial Day Weekend. We headed down south to the Little Sahara Sand Dunes and went 4 wheeling and camping. We were joined by a couple other friends of Brandon's from work. We got rained on a little, but it was still loads of fun. Not the best sleep we have ever had though. People are crazy about their riding. They ride all hours of the night. It's pretty noisy. It was nice to get back to our own bed.

Surprise!

So my cute little nephew turned 2 on the 17th. I was lucky enough to fly down and surprise my sister with my presence and help her with the little guy's birthday party. He had a Finding Nemo themed party. My sister did a great job pulling everything together and we had a great time. Here are a few more pics from the trip.

Happy Birthday to US!

Many of you may not know that Brandon and I are a day apart! His birthday is April 19th and mine is the 20th. We both turn 26 this year! Ahh! I hate thinking I am getting closer to 30. We had a great weekend celebrating with family. Thanks everyone for fun times and great gifts!

Deer Valley

So it's been a while since I updated my blog. So sorry. Well a few weeks back Brandon and I had a chance to go ski Deer Valley. He gets a free season pass there from his work...lucky! He somehow got me a free day pass. So it was a great fee free day! It was really warm and the snow wasn't that great, but what a nice resort! Fun day with the hubby! Thank you!
