Lately...

So here are some more recent pics of Hailey. I'm probably going to turn into one of those people that is constantly posting pictures of their baby. Sorry, but I'm sure the grandmas appreciate it!

So I will recap the past few weeks for everyone...My mom and dad were both here the week Hailey was born. My dad had to leave to go back to work but my mom stayed another week to help me. And boy was it nice to have her here! She cooked us fabulous meals and cleaned the house for me. Oh and she helped out with the early morning shift a few times when Hailey was fussy or not tired! It was really hard to have to say goodbye to her and send her back home. I wished we lived closer! Web cam for now.

This is a little beanie a lady from my work made for me. So cute!

I love this little jogging suit on her.

My little pacifier baby. Seriously though, she loves to suck!

So after my mom left my sister and nephew Luke came to visit. Which was so nice because I was so sad my mom had left. They stayed for about a week. It was so fun to see how Luke was around a new little baby for an extended period of time. He was very interested in what was happening all the time. When I would go change her diaper, he would run after me to come and watch! Or she would be sitting in her papasan chair sucking on her pacifier and it would fall out and she would start to fuss. He would run over and put it back in her mouth. While he was putting it in her mouth he would say "It's ok, It's ok" or "open wide" or "ahhhh." So cute! He would also do this for her in the car if she was fussy in her car seat.

So the other night she was sitting in her swing...which she loves by the way... and I caught her sleeping like this

She's Here!!!

Our precious baby girl Hailey Jo Swaner is here! She was born March 28th, 2010. She weighed 8lbs. 6 oz.and was 20.5 in. long. She is a strong healthy baby and just as sweet as can be!

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful, good tempered little baby. I can't believe the love and the bond that we have for her already. Being a parent is an amazing experience. But also a lot of work! But we are learning everyday how to be better parents for this special little spirit. Here are a few highlights from her first couple of days. I can't believe how much she changes everyday!

We love you Hailey!

Brandon's New Job!!!

So Brandon just accepted a new job working for Stevens-Henager College in Murray, UT. He will be working as an admissions assistant and getting people to attend their school. He is really excited about this big career change. It will definitely be hard leaving the outdoor industry, especially Rossignol. He has made some really good friends out there. Maybe he can go back to work with them again in the future! But things just worked out at the right time. With the baby coming at the end of March, I'm going to have to stop working. We were kind of stressing about jobs and one that could support both of our incomes enough that I could stay home. And this was our answer. I don't quite fully understand all the details of the job yet, but I will! Brandon starts his first day on March 3rd. We are considering moving down to the SLC area to be closer, but we'll have to see. We are really excited about this! So proud of you honey!

Waiting on Baby!

I'm so in love with the baby's bed/bedding! We had it custom made in California from "The Baby Guy." He has the best stuff! We finally got our crib and bedding all put together. Now our spare/junk room feels more like the baby's room! Can't wait!

Feeling tired these days...

So lately I haven't been sleeping well. I guess pregnancy will do that to you. I'm 32 weeks along and feeling larger everyday! I wake up in the middle of the night because my back hurts, I'm uncomfortable, I have to go to the bathroom, or I have heartburn. Then it's impossible to get comfortable and fall back asleep... especially when your husband is snoring! Love you honey, but it's hard. Anyway it leaves me feeling like I am dragging at work all day. I just wish someone would implement nap time at work.

Winter Dew Tour

Well as mentioned in my previous post, the Winter Dew Tour was at Snow Basin this year. We went up on Saturday to check out the fun events and to see some amazing skiers and snowboarders. There was a half pipe and a slope style contest...which basically means these guys do a bunch of crazy flips and jumps and whatnot. Brandon was very patient with his pregnant wife who was the biggest slow poke climbing around in the snow. All I wanted to do all day was sit down!

FREE DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL CONCERT!!!

So this past weekend the Winter Dew Tour was here, well at Snow Basin. As one of the kick offs for the big event, they had a concert in downtown Ogden. They shut down one of the streets and set up a big stage for Dashboard to come play! It was freezing, but a good concert! My only complaint is all those people out there who smoke. Put it out people! Seriously!

Happy 2010!

This year we got a chance to go to the Rose parade on New Year's Day. In the 14 years that my family has live in CA, we have never been. My dad just happens to know someone who goes every year and gets awesome seats. She hooked us up this year! Kind of a fun way to celebrate the new year!

My aunt Lisa and cousin Leah. These two peaches were out visiting from New Canaan, CT. So fun to have them here!

Just love my parents!

So the big thing there is silly string??? We had some fun playing with Luke though!

The streets are just lined with people for who knows how long.

Here's a few of the floats...

The Rose Bowl.

The snowboarding dogs! So dang cute. I wish I could have seen more of them.

Angel Pride. The float did say "The Anaheim Angels."

Christmas 2009

Christmas 2009 with the Leslie's! We had a lot of fun this year. Unfortunately I didn't take very many pictures so here's what I've got...

Cute Mom!

Luke with his new Dinosaur Christmas morning. It's actually pretty cool!

Can't get enough of this face!

The Granddad

Mom and her Mom

Little Lisa Mouse. She was so sleepy.

Sisters

Love these two!

Dad and his new Chargers Jersey. Had to sport it for the game!

Thank heavens for DVD players! We did a lot of driving back and forth to San Diego. This little guy would not have lasted without it. Sporting uncle Brandon's Skull Candy headphones!

Totally random, but while we were down there we went to Huntington and had Ruby's on the pier. Miss those shakes!

My family did also throw me a co-ed Baby Shower. It was a blast. We had a lot of family in town this year for Christmas so everyone got together for the big event. I wish I had some pictures. I'll try to post some later maybe!
